Following the sell-out success of our first Reserve Collection Experience, we’re bringing the experience back for another exclusive opportunity to step behind the scenes at Cobham Hall.
Step into the hidden world of the Royal Navy Museums: Naval Aviation reserve collection and get up close to historic aircraft and objects that are not normally on public display.
Led by experienced guides, all former members of the Fleet Air Arm, this 90-minute guided experience offers a unique insight into more than 100 years of Fleet Air Arm and Royal Naval Air Service history, as well as the conservation and preservation work that takes place behind the scenes.
With a maximum of 14 guests per tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the collection at close quarters, hear the stories behind these remarkable aircraft and objects, and ask questions along the way.
During the tour, you’ll see:
-
Supermarine 510 (VV106)
-
Douglas Skyraider (WT121/CU415)
-
Westland Sea King ASaC.7 (XV714)
-
Fairey Flycatcher (S1287/5)
-
Fairey Barracuda (LS931) wreckage
-
Handley Page HP115 (XP841)
-

-

📷 There will also be opportunities to take photographs during the tour, so don’t forget your camera.
The experience concludes with an exclusive Q&A, providing the opportunity to learn more about the collection and the work involved in preserving these important pieces of naval aviation history.
